Para garantizar la calidad de sus servicios y la estabilidad de sus servidores, Dreamhost “limita” el tiempo de procesador de los usuarios, simplemente para asegurarse de que ninguno de sus clientes utiliza toda la capacidad de proceso del servidor donde sus webs están alojadas.

Este límite es suficientemente ámplio como para permitir que se ejecute cualquier aplicación web estándar sin ningún problema: Weblogs (drupal, wordpress…), tiendas virtuales (como osCommerce), portales como phpNuke o Mambo, etc. Hay blogs alojados en Dreamhost que reciben miles de visitas diarias, y aún están muy lejos de alcanzar el límite de consumo de recursos

[Actualización: en este momento, ya no existe un límite fijo en cuanto a tiempo de proceso y lo estudian caso por caso. En sus propias palabras, únicamente un 0.001% de los sitios web alojados están causando problemas, y el primer paso es trabajar con el webmaster para rebajar la carga. Si no se consigue se le mueve a un servidor con más tiempo libre de proceso, y si continúa teniendo problemas se le coloca en servidores especiales junto con otros "devoraprocesadores" ]

Pero, incluso en el caso de que tu aplicación consuma demasiado, o si por alguna extraña razón no estés contento con los servicios recibidos, Dreamhost ofrece una
garantía de devolución de dinero de 97 días. Si en algún momento en los primeros 97 días deseas cancelar tus servicios te devuelven el 100% del importe pagado sin más preguntas.
